International Women’s Day – In Conversation With . . .
The Society’s Diversity and Inclusion Mission Statement outlines how we aim to create a culture of inclusion and growth for members, recognising and respecting our uniqueness and difference in terms of backgrounds, beliefs, life experience, perspectives, personality and skills.
We are delighted, then, to host a conversation with four women from different countries and cultures, all of them leaders in the actuarial profession:
- Sheelagh Malin, our President
- Roseanne Harris, President of the International Actuarial Association
- Mária Kamenárová, Chairperson of the Actuarial Association of Europe
- Louise Pryor, President of the Institute and Faculty of Actuaries.
The event will be hosted by our Chief Executive, Yvonne Lynch.
What better time for this event than in the run-up to International Women’s Day 2022, which falls on 8th March?
The theme for IWD 2022 is #BreakTheBias. Hear what our panellists have to say about this - and much more. Of course, this is not just an event for women. It’s a unique opportunity for all members to hear from and engage with local and international leaders of our profession. We are looking forward to a lively and insightful discussion!
