Real estate can play different roles in a multi-asset portfolio (for example, it can be a growth asset, a liability-matching asset or a diversifier). In every case, however, rental income is critically important and therefore understanding the credit risk associated with tenants is also important.
The webinar will discuss how to accurately identify counterparty risk and how to quantify the probability of tenant failure. It will also discuss how to assign the familiar bond market credit ratings (AAA, BB etc) to rental income at the tenant, asset and portfolio level.
