Both the traditional and the fintech banking industry compete for talent in many areas of finance and to date only a small number of such firms have recognised the significant source of talent available in the actuarial profession; fewer still have employed actuaries for roles in pricing, product development, capital management, and asset-liability management in the banking industry.
