Professor Ralf Toumi gives an insight into the scientific perspective on climate change: The evidence for Climate Change is reviewed. The impacts in terms of heat stress, flood, cropland loss and water stress is illustrated or a range of carbon emission outcomes. Professor Toumi will introduce the concept of the adapted zone and why extremes continue to catch us out. Finally, he will review the state of the international COP process.
